Trends refresh

HRV balance guidance
- Your daily readiness messages will now highlight your recovery status also through HRV balance insights. You can spot HRV balance messages if your recovery status and HRV balance is low, they’re both getting better, or are already optimal.

Introducing Rest Mode
- If you feel a bit under the weather or you need to slow down, the new Rest Mode helps you concentrate on recovery.
- In Rest Mode, your activity goals and metrics are paused, and your daily insights remind you to take it easy.
- You can switch to Rest Mode whenever needed in the app main menu. You may also see a contextual Rest Mode suggestion if your body temperature is elevated, which can be a sign of strain.
Hallo Deutschland - Oura now supports German!
- From now on, Oura guides you in German if your device language is set to German.
- If you have iOS 13 or higher, you can also set your preferred language for Oura in your device settings.

Recovery time contributor improvements

University of California San Francisco Health and Oura are teaming up to study whether Oura can provide signals that help predict symptoms of illnesses like COVID-19 in the future. Oura is inviting all users to join the study, participation is voluntary.
